Privacy Policy

Who we are

MudaMudaBermuda is a web design and management studio serving businesses across Bermuda, operated in partnership with DevelopMyWeb Ltd in the United Kingdom. For anything to do with your personal information, contact our privacy officer at he***@*************da.com

What we collect

  • The enquiry form. Your name, email address and message, plus your business name and phone number if you choose to give them.
  • Email. If you write to us directly, we keep the correspondence.
  • Technical logs. Our hosting provider, DevelopMyWeb, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and diagnostics.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location, and the type of device and browser. It sets a small number of cookies so returning visitors are counted once, and uses your IP address to estimate rough location without storing it. We use these reports in aggregate; they don’t tell us who you are.

Fonts are served from our own server, and beyond the analytics cookies above the site sets no cookies for ordinary visitors.

What we use it for

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, and deliver and support the services you ask us for. That’s the whole list: we don’t sell personal information, rent out lists, or send marketing you didn’t ask for.

Who sees it

Enquiries go to our team, including DevelopMyWeb in the United Kingdom, who build and care for websites with us. When personal information leaves Bermuda, PIPA still applies: we remain responsible for it and make sure it receives a comparable level of protection wherever it’s held. Our hosting and email providers, and Google as our analytics provider, process data on our behalf under their own safeguards. Beyond that, we don’t share your information with anyone unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and correspondence are kept for as long as we need them to help you and to maintain reasonable business records, then deleted. If you’d like something removed sooner, just ask.

Your rights

Under PIPA you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete what we no longer need. Email our privacy officer and we’ll respond promptly. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Bermuda (privcom.bm).
